It all seems like a dream. It started with me talking to that steadfast pig head. When I first heard it's voice my body turned all tremulous on me. At first I didn't quite get what it was walking about, "We are going to have fun on this island. Understand?", the voice still in my head, "We are going to have fun on this island! So don't try it on, my poor misguided boy, or else-". It told me what was going to happen, "-Or else, we shall do you? See? Jack and Roger and Maurice and Robert and Bill and Piggy and Ralph. DO YOU. See?" I thought it was asking me if I see but my mind was corrupted by that.
I needed to clear it.I decided I would go up into the forest, clear my mind. When I got there I made a discovery noone would believe. The "all feared beastie" was just a dead guy stuck on a tree with a parachute. I decided I should go up the mountain and look for the flame to see where I should go to spread the truth. I ran up and saw flames which is where I decided to go. as i walked along nearing the sight of the flames it was now night and a storm was coming. I hear chants near by and get a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.
I stumble out of the forest only to be greeted by a circle and chanting, "KILL THE BEAST, CUT HIS THROAT, SPILL HIS BLOOD, DO HIM IN". The rain falling, the circle growing, little did I know what my ill fate would become. They start pummeling me as soon as they surround me. They bit and scratched and punched and kicked as I yelled trying to tell them what I found. I remeber my exact words, "The beast isn't real! It's just a dead guy.", but they wouldn't stop. I stumbled down a small cliff toward the water to escape the insane crowd. Then I felt blood trickling down my face. And that is the last thing I felt before I died.
Little did I know what that tonight would approch the cliff in my life. That tonight I would reach my peak, a peak you just have to close your eyes. Close your eyes and hope you can jump. And if you jump you just hope you don't ever land.
The fall that last forever, the fall that feels alright. It's the landing that hurts, SPLAT!

Judge: Please be seated. Today we are hearing in the case of High Tech Middle versus Mr. Jack Merridew who is accused on two counts of murder. The murders of Simon Potter and Edwin "Piggy" ____________. Does prosecution or defense have any request to admit or exclude any evidence.

Blog 12: Part 1- Q and A
Recently we have decided to put Mr. Jack Merridew on trial for the death that have occurred on the island. I have been chosen as the judge. To prepare for my role I decided I would learn more about judges as to what they do in the court.
Q: What is a judges main purpose in the courtroom?
A: The main purpose of a judge is to hold hearings between two disputing parties and maintain order between the parties. They also ensure that all rules and legal procedures are followed throughout the trial.
Q: What powers do judges have in the court?
A: They can allow or over rule objections to info the opposing has given. They also have the power to both allow or deny motions to dismiss and post trial motions. These motions are when the defense ask the judge to acquit the defendant, before the jury can render a verdict. But usually the judge will deny these motions though.

A: If the defendant is found guilty then the judge will sentence the defendant to jail time, time in prison, community service, house arrest, or probation.
Q: What if the defendant is found not guilty?
A: If the jury renders a verdict of not guilty then the defendant is let free to go.

Blog 11: A Shame To Britain
"Well don't just sit around like a bunch of little pansies, MOVE!!!" I exlaimed at my crew as I saw the smoke arise from the island. We got about 700 feet away when I yelled, "Drop Anchor!!"
They heaved the anchor over the edge of the ship as w got into a small life raft and rowed to shore. As we neared faint ululations could be heard from the island. I visualized what could be happening on that island, but it was too late to go back now. We are basically at the shore when I see that the entire island has been set a flame. We get to shore and my crew of 5 starts to cower in fear of a dark figur walking out the hell-like forest. I place my hand on the handle of my revolver as to draw it if I don't like what I see emerge from the forest of hell. I grip the handle and start to pull it out only to see that the dark figure is just a little boy, no older than my son. He came out and looke me right in the eye.
In my mind I thought "Beelzebub must of had devils put aside for this,"
I asked him questions and all I would recieve were short answers. I urged them to elaborate but I recieved nothing. Why, there was even a young boy who couldn't remember his own name. Whatever happened here, put these boys through hell and back twice. I couldn't imagine what could have caused them to result to this. And when I asked if there were any casualties and the answer was yes, I wasn't very surprised. But when I asked them if they were British and the answer was yes, I was.
What a shame to Britain.
