Blog 8: Puerco En Un Palillo

It all seems like a dream. It started with me talking to that steadfast pig head. When I first heard it's voice my body turned all tremulous on me. At first I didn't quite get what it was walking about, "We are going to have fun on this island. Understand?", the voice still in my head, "We are going to have fun on this island! So don't try it on, my poor misguided boy, or else-". It told me what was going to happen, "-Or else, we shall do you? See? Jack and Roger and Maurice and Robert and Bill and Piggy and Ralph. DO YOU. See?" I thought it was asking me if I see but my mind was corrupted by that. I needed to clear it.

I decided I would go up into the forest, clear my mind. When I got there I made a discovery noone would believe. The "all feared beastie" was just a dead guy stuck on a tree with a parachute. I decided I should go up the mountain and look for the flame to see where I should go to spread the truth. I ran up and saw flames which is where I decided to go. as i walked along nearing the sight of the flames it was now night and a storm was coming. I hear chants near by and get a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.

I stumble out of the forest only to be greeted by a circle and chanting, "KILL THE BEAST, CUT HIS THROAT, SPILL HIS BLOOD, DO HIM IN". They start pummeling me as soon as they surround me. They bit and scratched and punched and kicked as I yelled trying to tell them what I found. I remeber my exact words, "The beast isn't real! It's just a dead guy.", but they wouldn't stop. I stumbled down a small cliff toward the water to escape the insane crowd. Then I felt blood trickling down my face. And that is the last thing I felt before I died.

Ernie-
Good job. I like the way you quote LOTF. Can you set the scene a little more? This could be done by describing the weather or the circle in more detail.

Great job using dialogue! The one thing you should do is space it all out like this:

"Ernie, you should space the dialogue out." William said.

"No way Jose." Ernie replied rudely

"Please." begged William.

Anyways, great job using your voice and I can't wait to comment on your other blogs!
